Horsepower Merch Design
Horsepower is a music project that blends gritty energy with a sense of whimsy. I designed merch that reflects this tone, using a custom typeface inspired by medieval typography with a playful, handcrafted twist.

The Horsepower typeface was inspired by the visual world already established in the music videos. I looked to medieval letterforms, the playfulness of Curlz MT, and the sculptural quality of chess pieces to create something that felt both bespoke and referential.
In addition to general merch designs, I created a shirt specifically for Horsepower’s EP release show. 100% of the proceeds were donated to CHIRLA, an organization committed to empowering the rights of immigrants and providing financial support to those detained by ICE. We raised over $1300 for CHIRLA through merch sales.
